Dear animal lovers,
I am very excited to add my hands to the animal massage trade in San Francisco.
I was previously trained in human massage and love the way I can use my prior experience and all my new training in this wonderful new field. I was raised in a ranch environment a 4H leader for years and have been around animals all my life. From horses to field mice and many a wounded bird I had my training in handling animals at a very early age.
No matter what the reason you decide to have a massage:Recover from illness, comfort from old age, improve it's performance, improve social skills, just because you want to give it a treat.Massage is always guaranteed to improve that animals trust and knowledge that you care about it's comfort and health.
Among some of the many benefits of massage are: Better circulation, releases toxins from muscles and tissues, increases range of motion for joints, increased flexibility of spine and cartilage, relaxes stressed animals and increases trust, helps speed recovery from many injuries and is also great for detecting hard to notice ailments.
I respect all efforts to provide massage to the public but do not agree with the 10. 20 or 30 minute massage offerings. It is my experience that the first 10-15 minutes is taken up with my hands getting an overall appraisal of the animal and time to let the animal since my energy and get used to me enough to get any serious body work started.
Therefore I do not provide any massages user 45 minutes.
I look forward to establishing this site as a forum (please see forum)for animal outreach, pet care information, rescue links and discussion groups to enhance the lives of our pets and animals in the wild.
When our pets are happy, we are happy.
Keeping them well is important to our health as well as theirs.
Cancer has challenged me in recent years and I now require crutches or wheelchair for mobility from time to time. Though this has been a bit of setback for mobility I believe it has greatly enhanced my empathy for pain and injury as well as enhancing my over all senses.
I know I can help you and our community make your pets lives as long and enjoyable as possible.
